Laurie has spent her career influencing diversity and inclusion within corporate Canada and inspiring connections that lead to balanced and thoughtful partnerships between Industry and Indigenous communities. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from UBC and a Certificate in Professional Fund Raising and is a member of the Gitxsan Nation.

Thriving on finding innovative solutions to challenges – leveraging her creativity and bilingualism to foster meaningful connections and inclusive environments – Meaghen brings a unique perspective to problem-solving. As a Métis artist and communications professional combined with having a Bachelor of Recreation Management and Community Development degree allows Meaghen to see the world in ways that others may not. Her passion for driving positive change is reflected in her strategic approach to project management, storytelling, and celebrating Indigenous success.

With more that 18 years’ administrative management experience, including in Client Services, Jennifer is an integral part of Pathways’ search process. She provides research and a wide range of project supports for the team and Pathways clients and is used to wearing a lot of different hats while she does! Raised on Canada’s East Coast, Jennifer now lives in rural Manitoba and is furthering her education with uWinnipeg’s PACE program.

Based in Ottawa, Joy has collaborated with clients across Canada to develop search strategies and attract executives at all levels. She has significant experience placing leaders in academia, government, and private sector companies. With a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion, Ms. Beshie brings a unique lens to her searches and strives to create a process that is fair and free of bias. Ms. Beshie was the recipient of the M.P. Mike Wallace Citizenship Award in Burlington, ON for services to the community, holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Ottawa, and is currently studying for her Bachelor of Commerce at Athabasca University.

With over 15 years of administrative experience in professional office settings, Wenda Lee ensures all Pathways projects are delivered with the highest quality deliverables and within promised timelines. Great at multitasking and meeting deadlines when it seems impossible, Wenda Lee is an important member of the team and point of contact for our clients. She holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and a Diploma from Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts.

Passionate for advancing Indigenous communities nationwide, Katy was an elected Council Member for Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc for nine years, responsible for various portfolios including Human Resources, Finance, Lands, Leasing and Taxation, and Economic Development. Before becoming an executive-recruitment professional, Katy was the Deputy Chair for the First Nations Finance Authority. She holds a Human Resource Management Certification from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and an MBA in Indigenous Business Leadership from Simon Fraser University.

A passionate advocate for Indigenous inclusion and economic reconciliation, Terra is Cree-Métis with roots in the community of Cumberland House, Saskatchewan (Treaty 5) and is a Red River Métis citizen. With 20 years’ experience in communication and consulting, Terra is guided by Indigenous values of trust, reciprocity, and community. Her leadership roles, including Director of Business Development for SAY Magazine, have focused on promoting and amplifying Indigenous voices while fostering collaborations that drive positive change in the everyday lives of Indigenous peoples. She is an MBA candidate at TMU in Tkaronto, ON (Treaty 13).

With a passion for talent management, employee relations, recruitment, and special education, Jessica is a result-oriented and a committed professional who values the growth of people and organizations. Guided by Indigenous values of respect, wisdom, and humility, she has more than 10 years’ experience working in administration and human resources. Jessica holds multiple Business and HR-related certificates from Northwestern Polytechnic, as well as certificates in education assistance and medical terminology. She is a proud Northerner, born and raised in Yellowknife, NWT (Treaty 11 Territory) and now lives in northern Alberta on Treaty 8 land.

A recent graduate from TMU with a degree in Politics and Governance and Criminology, she is passionate about learning and education. Dedicated to promoting anti-racism, diversity, and gender equality, Shayna aims to uplift diverse populations through her advocacy and engagement. Committed to fostering inclusive practices, she believes in the power of diverse voices to drive meaningful change in the workplace and beyond.
