Position: Chief Administrative Officer

Skwlāx te Secwépemcúl’ecw (SteS) is seeking a Chief Administrative Officer to provide executive administrative leadership in direct support of Council’s governance responsibilities and strategic direction. Reporting to Council, the CAO serves as the Nation’s most senior administrative leader and principal liaison to Chief and Council, overseeing alignment across the four guiding pillars of Health and Wellness, Administration, Economic Development, and Lands. This role strengthens communication, fosters collaboration across departments, and models ethical, values-based leadership rooted in Secwépemc culture and community responsibility. It also ensures that Council’s vision, policies, and decisions are translated into coordinated organizational action that supports transparency, cultural grounding, and the effective, sustainable delivery of programs and services.
